Golden Milk

Ingredients
- 2 cups homemade almond milk
- 2 tsp vanilla
- Pinch of Himalayan pink salt
- 2-inch turmeric root, or 1 tsp ground turmeric
- ½ inch ginger root, or ½ tsp ground ginger
- Pinch black pepper
- Pinch ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 3 tbsp honey or maple (if vegan)
Procedure
In a large pot over low heat, combine all ingredients except coconut oil and honey. Whisk until mostly combined. Simmer, covered, for 5 minutes, stirring as you go.
Add the coconut oil and honey, give it a stir and heat until melted and fully incorporated.
Strain into cup and serve warm with dried roses.
