Join us for an exciting evening in the kitchen with the Chef and Owner of Avenue 805, Jeffrey Baird. Chef Baird will be sharing his love of homemade pasta and demonstrating some of the tips and techniques professionals use to ensure perfect results, at home, every time.

Chef Baird has been working in the restaurant industry for over twenty years, starting out as a dishwasher and working his way up to Chef and Owner of the popular Avenue 805 in Richmond's Fan District. In 2001, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Johnson & Wales University with an Associate’s degree in Culinary Artistry.

After a stint with Marriott International, Jeff sought out work in small upscale restaurants that use fresh, local ingredients. He has worked as Pastry Chef for Paysanne in Richmond's Shockoe Slip and as Sous Chef at Comfort in Richmond's Jackson Ward. At one point Jeff pulled double duty as Sous and Pastry Chef at Chez Foushee in downtown Richmond. He and his wife Sarah have owned Avenue 805 for four years and they are still going strong, earning awards, great reviews, and are labeled of one of Richmond's top date night spots.
