What you will learn
In this month’s edition of our Junior Chefs Cooking Club, kids will learn how to make some phenomenal dishes that are perfect for the fall season! We are going to be kicking off week one with a delicious and hearty Italian menu and then moving on to classic comfort foods in week two. Week three will feature some decadent fall treats that are beloved by all members of the family. Then we’ll wrap up the month by learning some new twists on old Thanksgiving classics just in time for the big day!

Kids ages 8-12 are welcome to join this brand new cooking club. Classes last about two hours each and run one day per week for four weeks. Young chefs will enjoy generous samples of each delicious dish and take home a packet of recipes. Share your love of cooking and boost your child’s confidence in the kitchen with a culinary experience they’ll never forget.

Please Note: Each Club runs for four consecutive weeks. For this particular series, because of Thanksgiving, the last session will be held on a Wednesday. Session dates are Thurs. 11/2, Thurs. 11/9, Thurs. 11/16 and Wed. 11/22. Club is only available as a four-week series. No single week enrollments.

What To Expect: Great cooking isn't about recipes—it's about techniques. In our Junior Cooking Club your kids will work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

  • Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours,
  • Students will work with other students in groups of 4
  • Hands-on classes are limited to 16 students
  • Please have them wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
  • Students enjoy a generous taste of every dish
  • You’ll receive a coupon good for 10% off in-store purchases each day of class
Sur La Table recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy, please check with your local Cooking School before attending the class. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.
