Class Description: Take your aspiring young chef on a culinary journey and share the exotic flavors of Mexico. Little chefs will sharpen their cooking skills and master culinary fundamentals. Our experienced chef instructors will walk young chefs through kitchen essentials like basic knife skills, how to follow recipes, measuring, mixing, monitoring cooking temperatures and time—and perhaps most importantly—kitchen safety. Then, we’ll teach them a number of cooking methods as they prepare Mexican-inspired dishes selected especially for young palates. Classes last around two hours. At the end of class kids will eat their creations. The skills learned in this class will show aspiring chefs how much fun cooking can be and provide them with a foundation for a lifetime in the kitchen.
