What you will learn
In this fun, five-day series, kids will practice essential kitchen skills and master the fundamentals of cooking. Young chefs will love working alongside classmates learning everything from grilling and roasting to braising and sautéing. Plus, they’ll discover how simple it can be to make homemade pasta, classic sauces and tasty baked treats.

We’ll get hands-on and cover the fundamental of cooking such as rules for handling knives, sauce making, baking ratios, making pasta from scratch and the importance of kitchen safety. Along the way, kids will take notes as they learn to create a variety of delicious sweet and savory dishes. Then on day 5, budding chefs will apply all the principles and techniques they’ve learned in an exciting team cooking challenge.

Kids ages 8-12 are welcome to join this popular culinary camp. Classes run about two hours each and last for five consecutive days. Each young chef will take home a packet of the recipes they make and a Sur La Table apron. Share your love of cooking by giving your child a foundation that will benefit them for a lifetime and an experience they’ll never forget.

*Please Note: Classes are only available as a five-day series, no single day enrollments. You can review each day's specific menu by selecting the “Menu” tab above.
