What you will learn
Menu: Spicy Pickled Peppers - Blackberry Preserves - Red Tomato-Ginger Jam

Class Description: With late summer produce bursting off the vine, now’s the perfect time to preserve those flavors for the upcoming cooler months. In this hands-on class, our instructor will show you how to transform seasonal ingredients into some of the best preserves, jams and pickled veggies you’ve ever tasted. We’ll walk you step by step through canning basics, from filling and sealing jars to the water-bath process. You’ll use these skills over and over again to easily create your own sweet or savory preserves—perfect for gifting or simply treating yourself.



What To Expect: Great cooking isn't about recipes—it's about techniques. In our classes you'll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

  • Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above
  • You will work with other students in groups of 4
  • Hands-on classes are limited to 16 students
  • You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class
  • Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
  • You will enjoy a generous taste of every dish
