Ingredients
- 2 oz. white rum
- 1 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
- ¾ oz. simple syrup or sugarcane juice
- Fresh mint
- Club soda or sparkling water
Procedure
Rumba your way to happiness after a few sips of this refreshing Cuban highball infused with fresh mint and lime juice. For a traditional version of this cocktail, substitute the simple sugar for sugarcane juice and use spearmint.
Add lime juice and 6–8 mint leaves in a pint glass and muddle. Add the simple syrup and rum, top with crushed ice, Club soda (or sparkling water) and shake. Fine strain into a Collins or pint glass. Add your ice and garnish with a mint sprig.
