Wonderful as long as you know how to care for it...As long as you properly care for this board it is great. I stored mine a little too close to the oven and it dried and split a little in one place, but is a minor imperfection.

Cut marks ultimately get repaired when you recondition the wood....Cutting, slicing, chopping — sliding a knife blade along the wood feels great. It's satisfying.

This is a hefty board, but not too large to clean effectively.

I also bought the oil and cream kit to maintain the wood. She loves it and the walnut is just beautiful....I've never had a Boos before so it is fabulous. You do have to care for it monthly to keep it in tip top shape, but it's not too bad of a process....

Nice heavy cutting board, love the wood pattern. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that the cutting surface needed a little extra sanding to remove some roughness I didn't care for.
