Designed & Engineered in Germany, made in China. I've had this for over a year and it works as well now as when I got it. We use it to cut our weekly pizza, and it also works great to cut our weekly pancakes! It is smaller than most pizza cutters out there, but it works better than others I've had. It's the best pizza cutter I've owned. I don't remember if it's dishwasher safe or not, but I always hand wash mine.
