Ingredients
- Juice of half a lime
- 1 bar spoon powdered sugar
- 6 cl (2 oz) pineapple juice
- 3 cl (1 oz) white rum
- 3 cl (1 oz) brown rum
- Several dashes of Angostura bitters
- Freshly grated nutmeg
Procedure
Named after the bootleggers who transported Caribbean rum to Florida speakeasies, this drink is the perfect concoction to serve at backyard barbecues.
Put crushed ice into shaker. Add all ingredients except nutmeg. Shake. Strain into all-purpose tumbler. Fill glass with crushed ice. Optionally: grate a bit of nutmeg over the top of the cocktail.
