Please join us for this special hands-on class created in conjunction with Charles Phan, chef owner of the Slanted Door in San Francisco. Simple, honest, straightforward and incredibly flavorful, that’s the philosophy and recipe for success of Charles Phan. Interesting without being difficult, Phan’s food is an extension of how he’s cooked all his life, creating his family’s traditional Vietnamese dishes with American ingredients when he was just 15. Phan’s method is driven by technique, involving a mastery of fundamental skills along with the practiced use of equipment to create exemplary Vietnamese cuisine.
Classes taught by Sur La Table chefs. Charles Phan will not be in attendance.
