California Transparency in Supply Chains Act
SLT Lending SPV, Inc. dba Sur la table
SLT Lending SPV, Inc. dba Sur la table (Sur la table or Company) requires our vendors/suppliers to comply with the applicable laws and regulations of the United States, and those of the respective country of manufacture or exportation. In accordance with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 1714.43; SB 657), Sur la table’s efforts to address human trafficking and slavery in its supply chain are described below. This disclosure was last reviewed and updated on August 26, 2026.
Verification
Sur la table’s supply chain and legal executives meet on an annual basis, and informally as needed, to assess the risk of human trafficking and slavery in our supply chains and to assess whether our policies and procedures appropriately address those risks. This verification is conducted internally by Sur la table personnel and is not conducted by a third party.
Audits
Sur la table conducts audits of its direct vendors/suppliers and/or insures that its supply chains meet leading international, auditable social certification standards that help organizations protect workers’ human rights and ensure fair, safe, and dignified working conditions and requires the disclosure of supplier information regarding labor practices. Audits aim to identify any improper labor practices, including child labor, forced labor, prison labor, indentured labor or bonded labor that may exist.
Sur la table will provide detailed guidance to vendors/suppliers on our requirements and how to meet them. If non-conforming conduct is identified, appropriate investigative and remedial actions will be taken up to and including termination of the vendor/supplier relationship.
Sur La Table aims to utilize unannounced audits with factories to verify compliance, which are to be conducted by independent third parties. Audits may incorporate offsite interviewing and surveillance techniques as appropriate based on perceived risk.
Certification
All Sur la table vendors/suppliers must adhere to our Vendor Alliance Guide, which includes language strictly prohibiting human trafficking and slavery. The Vendor Alliance Guide incorporates local laws and is based on international standards, such as International Labor Organization (ILO) and United Nations (UN) regulations. The Vendor Alliance Guide requires vendors/suppliers to comply with the stricter of the Vendor Alliance Gude and the labor laws of the country of manufacture.
Sur la table also requires adherence to the Vendor Alliance Guide in Sur la table’s Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, and Sur la table send periodic communications to suppliers making them aware of new revisions to existing terms, as appropriate. Sur la table requires its direct suppliers to certify that the materials/components incorporated into the products they supply comply with the laws regarding slavery and human trafficking of the country or countries in which those suppliers do business via a certification at onboarding and acceptance of the Purchase Order Terms and Conditions.
Internal Accountability
Sur la table holds its employees to the highest standards of integrity and honesty in business practices. Merchant and product development team members are trained on required vendor/supplier employment practices and working conditions, including policies on involuntary labor, human trafficking, child labor and forced labor. Sur la table employees and contractors are subject to disciplinary measures, up to and including termination of employment or engagement, for failing to abide by all applicable laws and Company standards, including the Company’s standards regarding slavery and human trafficking.
Any employee or contractor who becomes aware of a vendor/supplier who does not comply with the human trafficking, child labor or forced labor laws in the country or countries in which they do business must promptly report that suspected violation through internal Company channels.
Training
Sur la table provides training to employees and management, including merchant and product development team members, who have direct responsibility for supply chain management on human trafficking and slavery, including how to identify and report any instances of child labor or forced labor they may see while visiting vendors/suppliers. This training is provided at onboarding and annually thereafter. Sur la table also regularly provides information regarding its confidential hotline for employees of any level to report any ethics or compliance issues.
