What To Expect: Great cooking is about more than recipes—it's about techniques. In our classes you'll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
- Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above
- You will work with other students in groups of 4.
- Hands-on classes are limited to 16 students
- You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class
- Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
- Students receive a coupon good for 10% off in-store purchases the day of class

Nene D.There are so many definitions of "healthy" eating, it's impossible to say for sure if this class will meet your friend' requirements. We cooked chicken, brussel sprouts, potatoes and apple crisp. We used no artificial ingredients. We cooked with olive oil, not butter or a less healthy oil alternative. Each team of 4 people determined how much salt, spice and sugar to use. I found the people on my team willing to acommodate my desire for less salt. Sur La Table says that if you have specific issues, they might be able to handle them if you contact them in advance, but I can't say how flexible they are since I didn't have any problems with the menu as planned.
