Just pour everything into the "Emulsifir", pump it a few times and it actually emulsifies the mixture....Great mixer, messy pour spout...It makes making home made salad dressing easy. The spout isn't great. Also I'd prefer a glass jar.

Only draw back is I'm not convinced the little lid will stay on when you pour. It did fall in once so I usually have my index finger on it when I pour now....Pours well
