We'd had a Chilewich basketweave rug in our kitchen (on hardwood floor) for 10 years and it was finally time to replace it.

We have this laid in front of the kitchen sink and dishwasher to avoid any water splashing and found this to be perfect for this use.

Strong for the long haul!...It seems to be very well made and strong enough to last a long time. I'm a bit of a snob about having a plastic rug anywhere but near an outside door but this is proving the exception.
