Cristel Strate Universal Steamers

Steam seafood, vegetables, dumplings and more with these steamer inserts designed to be compatible with the detachable, interchangeable handles of the Strate collection (sold separately). Steamers are available in two sizes: Small (8") steamer is compatible with the Cristel Strate 2-qt. sauté pan and 1.5-qt., 2-qt. and 3-qt. saucepans, and the large (9.5") steamer is compatible with the Cristel Strate 3-qt. saucepan and 4-qt., 5.5-qt. stewpans and 2-qt, 3-qt and 3.5-qt sauté pans.

Completely made in France, the Strate collection from Cristel is a breakthrough in convenience and versatility, boasting innovative compact design features such as detachable, interchangeable handles, flat lids and nesting capabilities.

The detachable, interchangeable handles allow you to customize each sleek, stainless steel vessel, and make for space-saving efficiency in storage, and the dishwasher. These handles securely fasten to vessels thanks to a patented locking mechanism, and will not detach until you unlock them. The long handles or two side handles can be attached to hot vessels in the oven for safe transport without the need for potholders or oven mitts. Interchangeable handles easily turn a cooking pan into a serving vessel.

An entire Cristel collection takes up about a quarter of the space as other similarly sized collections, making it ideal for smaller living spaces, boat galleys, motorhomes, or anyone who enjoys convenience and quality.
