2021 Sur La Table May Online Cooking Class Giveaway Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

This Giveaway (“2021 Sur La Table May Online Cooking Class Giveaway”) is administered and sponsored by Sur La Table, Inc. (“Sur La Table” or “Sponsor”) and is governed by the terms and conditions contained herein.

How to Enter. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER. On May 4 to May 31, 2021, Sur La Table will hold an Instagram-only giveaway. To enter during the Entry Period (defined below):

• Post a Photo using the hashtags #surlatablecookingclass and #SLTsweepstakes and tagging @surlatable on Instagram.

Posting a Photo anywhere on Instagram or in any other manner than as described above will not be accepted. Posting a Photo to Instagram without the hashtags #surlatablecookingclass and #SLTsweepstakes and tagging @surlatable will not be accepted. If you are not already a member of Instagram, you may download and install the free Instagram application (or visit their respective website) and register for a free account. Entry by other means will not be accepted. Receipt of entries will not be acknowledged. Each eligible participant (also an “Entrant”) completing the entry process by Instagram will receive an entry (also each an “Entry” or collectively, the “Entries”) into the Giveaway. Only one Entry per participant will be counted. More than one Photo on Instagram will be treated as a single entry.

Duration. Entry for this Giveaway will only be accepted from 12:00 AM (PST) on May 4, 2021 to 11:59 PM (PST) on May 31, 2021 (“Entry Period”). Entries must be received during the Entry Period to be eligible for the Giveaway.

Prizes. In this Giveaway, Sur La Table will be awarding three (3) Grand Prizes. The Grand Prize is one (1) registration for a Sur La Table Online Cooking Class. Excludes Celebrity Chef Online Cooking Classes, Online Culinary Institute Courses and In-Store Classes. Winner will select their Online Cooking Class from the options provided by Sur La Table. Total ARV of Grand Prize: $29. Total ARV of all three (3) Grand Prizes: $87.

Prize Conditions. No cash will be awarded in lieu of, as part of, or in addition to any Prize. The Prizes are nontransferable and must be accepted by the winner as awarded. If a winner is unable to accept or use a Prize, another winner will be chosen. Other restrictions may apply. Sur La Table reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Sur La Table does not provide any warranty for the Prizes, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Drawing. One winner will be selected from all Entries received during the Entry Period in a random drawing (“Drawing”) held on or around June 1, 2021. The Drawing will be conducted by Sur La Table, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Giveaway. The winner need not be present to win. The winner will be notified within seven days following the Drawing by @surlatable using Instagram comment or direct message. The winner will have 48 hours from the date of notification by Instagram commenting or direct messaging to claim their prize. At the sole discretion of Sur La Table, if a winner fails to claim their prize during this 48-hour period, the winner may be disqualified and the prize forfeited. In the event of prize forfeiture, Sur La Table may, in its sole discretion, award or not award the forfeited prize to an alternate winner. Sur La Table shall not be responsible or liable for any failure by a potential winner to claim their prize for any reason.

Odds. The odds of winning depend upon the number of Entries received during the Entry Period.

Geographic Restrictions. Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the United States.

Other Restrictions. Giveaway is void where prohibited by law.

Eligibility. Limit one Entry per person per Method. Must be 18 years of age or older to enter or win. Eligibility of the winner will be verified. The winner may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release. Employees, contractors, representatives, directors, officers of Sur La Table, and their families and households, are not eligible. The winner may be required to sign a publicity release that will allow the use of that winner's name by Sur La Table. By entering this Giveaway, Entrants and winner release Sur La Table, its directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents, Facebook and Instagram (“Released Parties”) from any and all liability and shall hold the Released Parties harmless for any injuries, claims, losses or damage of any nature whatsoever arising from the Giveaway or participation in any Giveaway-related activity or arising from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Prize.

Conditions: Sponsor assumes no responsibility for: (i) late, misdirected, misaddressed, or incomplete Entries; (ii) electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, computer or other failures of any kind (including, but not limited to, search efforts to locate Photos using hashtags #surlatablecookingclass and #SLTsweepstakes); (iii) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor; or (v) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Giveaway. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner, the winning Entry will be deemed to be made by the authorized account holder of the Instagram account or the email address used for the Entry. This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. Information submitted in connection with the Giveaway will be treated in accordance with these official rules and Sponsor’s privacy policy (as may be amended from time to time), currently available at www.surlatable.com/common/cmpyPrivacy.jsp provided that, in the event of any conflict between these official rules and such privacy policy, the terms and conditions of the official rules will prevail. Entrants whose email address is submitted as part of the Giveaway agree that Sponsor may contact them by email to make them aware of information pertinent to the Giveaway, and to distribute information regarding Sponsor’s products, special events, promotional offers, or purchase incentives. Entrants may choose to opt-out of future email notifications by clicking on the link in the email and following the opt-out instructions. Opting into specific offers does not improve an Entrant’s chances of winning.

Taxes: All taxes and other costs related to the acceptance or use of a Prize are the sole responsibility of the Prize winner.
