Bordallo Pinheiro Cabbage Beige Charger Plate

An earthenware charger plate is designed to sit under a dinner plate to help protect your table or linens from heat drips and scratches. It also adds a finished, layered look that makes everyday meals and special occasions feel more pulled together.

Use the charger as a base layer, then add your dinner plate and bowl on top for an elevated place setting. The cabbage-inspired texture adds dimension, so it pairs especially well with simple dinnerware when you want the pattern to stand out.

Because the charger plate is hand-finished, subtle variations in the detailing are normal and part of its character. These small differences help each piece feel one of a kind while still coordinating beautifully on the table.

Yes, the earthenware charger plate is described as durable and sturdy enough for regular use. It is still a good idea to handle it with care, especially when stacking or storing, to help protect the hand-finished surface.

For best results, follow the care guidance that comes with your earthenware charger plate, since care can vary by maker and finish. In general, handle earthenware gently and avoid sudden temperature changes to help prevent stress on the material.
