Can I and how do I sharpen my Kuhn Rikon paring knives?

I own about 6 of these paring knives and I absolutely love them. I have noticed that my older ones are ready to be sharpened, but I am not sure how to go about doing so. The blades are painted with non-stick surface and I am afraid that this will flake off if I sharpen them. Is there a Kuhn Rikon tool to help sharpen? Do I need to just purchase new knives? Although Kuhn Rikon does market these knives at a price point that makes them practically disposable, they can be sharpened using the Kuhn Rikon Mini-Pro Knife Sharpener.
