These ultra-sharp knives make quick work of everyday kitchen tasks from chopping hardy greens to deboning a chicken. Each full-tang blade is stamped from a single piece of steel, ice-hardened and joined with a triple-riveted black handle. Balanced for exceptional comfort, the unique curved bolster supports the pinch grip comfortably, promoting easy cutting with reduced hand fatigue. Each blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion. The block pairs a ceramic canister with a richly hued wooden top. Carved out of richly hued sapele wood—a botanical relative of mahogany—the lid offers a slot for each of the knives. Designed in Italy by Matteo Thun and made in Germany by Zwilling J.A. Henckels, these knives are exceptionally well-crafted kitchen tools you’ll reach for again and again.
