Makes 4 to 6 servings
Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings, trimmed
- 1 cup of your favorite Bourbon
- 1 cup frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed (approximately 12 ounces)
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Procedure
Preheat Air Fryer to 330°F.
Clean all chicken wings and pat dry.
Combine remaining ingredients in a medium pot and bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer for 20 minutes until glaze has reduced.
Coat wings with mixture.
Place in Air Fryer, 1 pound at a time, for approximately 15 to 20 minutes until wings begin to color and glaze becomes shiny.
Consider garnishing with minced chives and diced apples (as pictured).
Serve immediately.
