Ingredients
- ½ pound asparagus, tough ends trimmed off
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Procedure
Preheat grill pan over medium high heat. Brush with 1 tablespoon olive oil.
Toss asparagus with remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Place asparagus on the grill pan, laying them across the grates. Grill for 3 o 5 minutes, then flip over and continue to grill until crisp tender, about 3 more minutes.
Transfer grilled asparagus to a warm platter and serve immediately. Top with lemon zest as an optional garnish.
