I would have preferred that the pasta basket go deeper into the pot. The bottom of the basket is 2.5inches from the bottom of the pot which leaves you 3.5? ...Beautiful giant pot. Does what it?s supposed to....s beautiful, so I put it on my open shelf...

Great Pot - 3Qt. unique lid...Take note is that lid on the 3 qt is unique in size and its shape and doesn't fit on most other All Clad pots. The 2 qt is a standard lid. Otherwise, it's awesome!...it's also a great size for our old old "spaceship" steamer...
