This maple end-grain chopping block is made from northern-white species of hard rock maple. It’s finished with Boos cream, which creates a protective layer intended to help defend the wood from food and moisture.

Clean the maple end-grain chopping block by wiping with mild soap, water and a damp cloth. Reapply cream or oil whenever the surface looks dry or lighter in color to help keep the wood conditioned.

A small maple end-grain chopping block is great for everyday slicing and chopping when you do not want to pull out a full-size board. It’s especially handy for quick prep like herbs, citrus and small fruits at the counter.
