Does this slide around when using it? I want something that stays still while I’m chopping

No! This cutting board is quite heavy, that's why I got it so it would stay in one place. It's great! The only thing is that you need to be sure you want one with a well around it, because if you're just chopping vegies some will fall in the well and it's more work to get it out than just scraping off of a board with no well. The well is for catching juice, and for that it's perfect.
