Schmidt Brothers Cutlery Midtown Knife Block in Acacia

A magnetic hardwood knife block with acrylic sheets is ideal when you want countertop knife storage that is easy to see and easy to customize. The two-sided layout helps save space, and the acrylic panels add protection between hands, blades and nearby surfaces. It is a smart option for cooks who like to keep their most-used knives within reach.

The magnetic hardwood knife block with acrylic sheets holds up to 10 knives. The exact mix that fits best can vary based on the size and shape of your knives, since placement is fully customizable.

Strong magnets embedded in the hardwood help keep knives held against the block. Because it is a magnetic design, knives that are not attracted to magnets may not stay in place as securely.

The acrylic sheets are designed to protect your knives from natural wear and help reduce unintended cuts from exposed blades. They also let you keep knives visible, so you can spot what you need quickly.

Start by placing larger, heavier knives where they feel most stable, then fill in with smaller everyday knives. Using both sides can help you separate prep knives from specialty knives, or keep frequent tools on the side closest to your cutting board.
