A wine pump set removes air from the bottle through the stopper to create a vacuum seal. By limiting oxygen exposure after you pour, it helps keep your wine fresh for another glass later.
The wine pump set includes one pump and two stoppers. The two stoppers are designed to fit most wine bottles so you can reseal more than one opened bottle.
The stoppers in the wine pump set are made to fit most wine bottles. If you have an unusually shaped bottle, test the stopper fit before relying on the vacuum seal.
Insert a stopper into the opened bottle, then place the pump over the stopper and pump to extract air. Once the vacuum seal is created, leave the stopper in place until you are ready to pour again.
For the most accurate guidance, follow any care instructions included with the wine pump set. In general, gentle washing and thorough drying help keep wine tools ready for repeat use.
Yes, the wine pump set makes an easy, useful gift for wine fans, hosts and anyone who likes to enjoy a bottle over a few days. It is small enough to pair with a favorite bottle or tuck into a gift basket.
