Funny to get this message because I always meant to bring this back to the store. My old apple slicer at my other home always cuts all the way thru. The Sur La Table one is not sharp enough, doesn't cut through the bottom of the apple and is so difficult to push hard enuf to cut through the apple. A real dud of a product. Just saying. And thanks for asking.
