This isn't a class I'd recommend for beginners. I've taken several similar classes where I learned techniques like making caramel and tempering chocolate, both of which Chef Karen demonstrated for us rather than having us try ourselves.Pros: delicious truffles and shortbread cookies, good instruction from chef karen
