Illy X1 Anniversary ESE & Ground Espresso Machine in Black

This ESE pod and ground espresso machine is designed to make rich, full-bodied espresso using either ground coffee or illy’s 100% compostable ESE pods. The dual compatibility is helpful if you like the ritual of ground coffee some days and the convenience of pods on others.

When you brew with illy’s 100% compostable ESE pods, the ESE pod and ground espresso machine helps you enjoy espresso with a pod option designed to be compostable. You can also use ground coffee when that better fits your routine.

ECO mode uses fast heating technology to reduce energy consumption with minimal wait time between brews. It’s a smart choice when you want multiple drinks without leaving the machine fully heated for longer than needed.

Yes. The ESE pod and ground espresso machine has a steam wand for making cappuccinos and other milk-based espresso drinks, so you can steam milk for a creamy finish right at home.

It does. In addition to steaming milk, the wand can dispense hot water for tea and infusions, which is handy when you want something beyond espresso.
