Pineapple Orange Ginger Sorbet

Makes 6 servings
- 2 navel oranges, peeled and cut into chunks
- 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
- 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
- ¾ cup sugar
- 3 cups ice cubes
Combine orange chunks, pineapple chunks, ginger and sugar in a medium bowl. Stir well and refrigerate for 30 to 40 minutes to dissolve sugar and release juices.
Place fruit mixture and ice cubes in pitcher of KitchenAid Torrent Blender.
Cover and blend on Icy Drinks/Smoothie setting.
Transfer mixture to a metal bowl or pan and freeze, stirring occasionally, for 1 to 2 hours, or until firm enough to scoop.
