Browned Butter Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup browned butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups instant oats
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Add-ins: Dusting sugar, chocolate chips, nuts, raisins
Procedure
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a medium bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla together. Add in the eggs and additional egg yolk and mix to combine.
In a separate bowl, toss the dry ingredients together, and add to the butter mixture. Mix to combine.
Using a cookie scoop, place cookie dough onto a cookie sheet 2 inches apart from each other. Top with dusting sugar if desired.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the dough is no longer shiny.
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
