Breville Smart Grinder Pro in Pomodoro Rosso

The conical burr coffee grinder with hardened steel burrs is best for getting an ultra-consistent grind for a wide range of coffee styles. The burr design is made to grind without generating excess heat that can affect flavor. It also uses Dosing IQ to keep the dose calibrated when you change grind consistency.

Dosing IQ automatically adjusts the dose whenever you change grind consistency, so you do not have to manually recalibrate as often. It is a helpful feature when you switch between brew methods or tweak your grind to dial in taste.

Yes. The grinder is designed to deliver a calibrated amount of ground coffee regardless of brewing method, so it can support espresso as well as drip-style brewing. Adjust the grind consistency to suit your machine or brewer, then fine-tune from there.

In general, espresso calls for a finer grind, drip and pour-over tend to work well with a medium grind and French press is usually best with a coarser grind. Start near the range that matches your brewer, then adjust in small steps until you like the balance of strength and clarity in the cup.

For steady results, keep the grinding area clean so old grounds do not build up over time. A quick routine of emptying what you can and brushing away loose grounds helps support consistent performance, especially if you grind daily or switch coffees often.
