What you will learn
California is a place filled with some of the best produce and most unique terroir in the world. Join us as we team up with Life & Thyme to host a live chat around what makes California produce so special. The event will start with incredible tastes provided by our guests: Chef Neal Fraser of Redbird, Chef Shannon Swindle of Craft, Barbara Spencer of Windrose Farm and our Sur La Table Westwood Resident Chef Holly Amore. The chat will be hosted by Life & Thyme founder Antonio Diaz who will be discussing the realities of farming and cooking in Los Angeles!
What To Expect: Great cooking isn't about recipes—it's about techniques.
Sur La Table recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy, please check with your local Cooking School before attending the class. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.
What To Expect: Great cooking isn't about recipes—it's about techniques.
- This special event will last roughly 1 1/2 hours
- Space is limited to 32 students
- Seating is limited on a first come, first served basis
